Refusing Paying Compensation
On December 20th 2012, my flight was cancelled by Lufthansa due to technical problems with the aircraft, as announced. Cancellation was announced by Lufthansa after my timely check in and presentation at the announced boarding gate without Lufthansa offering to me any information as to if the flight would be rescheduled or when that would happen. Furthermore, please note that (a) no actual assistance was provided to me by Lufthansa or its agents other than an offer for accommodation somewhere and a phone number for me to call and rebook my tickets, (b) no alternative flight was offered to me or any other information as to my rights as per article 14 of the Regulation (c) no compensation was offered to me under article 7 of the Regulation and no reimbursement or re-routing was offered as per article 8 of the Regulation...
Lufthansa, still denies to follow the EU Legislation, and does not compensate me, by using funny excuses...
