to bahamasair
I'd would like to report to people thatt the information posted on bahamas air website regarding the size of the carry on passengers are allowed to carry free of charge is not complete/ or incorrect At Miami airport passengers arrived with carry on matching your 22″x18″x19″ & 20 lbs just to find that your airline has a metal frame they use to measure this bags,,, now this frame is far from the size you posted, This happens with every passenger going to bahamas from miami, and then to havana. If the aiplane you use to go to CUba does not take the 22″x18″x19″ & 20 lbs size please be more professional and advise it on website. Passenger are taken by surprise following your "offcial" regulations and are for no reason force to pay 35 more dollars to put carry on with cargo explosing the goods inside this carry on, we all now most times this goods are dear or high value to the costumers,, it is not a good experience to expose those good to so many hands. last saturday we traveled with your airline and when measuring my carry on that was much smaller than the allowed size but wont fit the miami international airport frame just beacuse of its tiny wheels, the clerk wanted to charge me 35, showed him a printout from your website, he did not charge me those 35 but instead, wraped a Heavy sticker around the bag handle. the bas was 20 pounds. I asked why and he told me it was ok, that that sticker is just to identify desination of the package( for what if the carry on goes with passenger at all times) i ask the shift's supervisor and received the same answer. this people were lying to me, a heavy sign means plenty of mass, and that goes with cargo. and ir happened as i forsaw, before entering the airplain my bag and many other's even with correct size were taken to cargo compartment. I say again , people with correct size and weight carrry on were charged 35 dollar. the fact that bahamasair clerk and supervisor's are misguiding and lyng to people thinking thay dont know what heavy means should be avoided by all means and this clerks attitude sould be revised. the client should always receive best attention from service providers. dont let air traveling standards go down |
