Here's my situation. I will be unable to make my departing flight from SND tomorrow to SLC. I am happy to buy a ticket to replace this but I need to retain the return flight that I brought with out any changes. Delta tells me that missing the departing flight will cancel the entire reservation. Further the corporate person refuses to discuss any flight that has not yet happened. I am just trying to be proactive, open up my seat for the departure flight, and retain the return seat that I have paid for. Instead Delta wants to charge me $250 change fee and an additional $150 for the cost of the return flight... ???? I am really disgusted, and totally unwilling to do further business with Delta under these terms. I can book a one-way on Alaska for $138... Come on Delta.
