Shortened my surname - EY487
I've booked my flight and my husband has booked his flight online on Etihad's website, from Australia to Brazil. We filled all the infos correctly as our passport. Somehow, we received the tickets with our surnames shortened (we have more than one surname), and because the last surname was correctly (just the others was shortened) we thought should be fine. My husband's name is Daniel and his surname is Goncalves Longo - on his ticket is Daniel G Longo. My first name is Cintia and my surname is Regina Rossi Longo - on my ticket is Cintia R Longo. I contact Perth office and the call centre and the assistant told me I have to cancel the ticket and rebook?!?!?!? It is insane, because I filled properly and is not my fault if the system shortened my surname. Another assistant told me I have to pay to change both tickets. But pay for what? Is not incorrect, your system has shortened one of my surnames and my husband's surname. I'm so disappointed and I hope the representative can help me!!!
