Default False Advertisement About Mileage Program

I am very troubled that United Airline can advertise on their website that their passenger will get mileage in their frequent mileage program when the customer purchase a ticket and fly to any destinations. This was not the case. I was given the mileage and then two weeks later United took it away. They told me I paid a cheap price for the ticket and they are not giving me the mileage; that is close to 20,000 mileage for my trip I did not get credited.

The United representative could not point out to me anywhere in their rules that they could change their program like that without pointing the rules out to me. They advertise in plain site on their website about their restriction and it did not say anything about taking back what they gave to me in the first place.

This is a case of false advertising and discrimination. My family member that I was traveling with got the mileage on their account.

Anyone have a suggestion

Thanks,
