I have booked a ticket Lahore- Jeddah- Lahore through internet using my Etihad miles and some cash paid by the debit card. My debit card was damaged and replaced by the new one. On 18th March when i reached at Lahore airport for check in. The check in staff asked me for the debit card used for the ticket. I told them new card was issued and i showed them my Etihad guest card , my bank statement showing the deduction of the amount in favor of Etihad. That person he contacted with the Etihad female staff who was the in charge of that shift.I gave her all my identity proof but she did not consider. As per the ticket terms and condition if the passenger cant present the card the airline may ask the passenger to buy the new ticket from airport. So i asked the staff i can buy the new ticket to travel because wanted to perform my
Uummrah after that may i cant get chance due to expire of my visa. but the staff told me that she dont have seat in this flight so i have to get the next flight. So i was refused to board even i produced the all proof except my debit card. Later i changed my ticket on 23 May and same time i send email to Etihad office . so waiting for their response. Today again i received call from Etihad that i cant use this ticket after 9th of May because my ticket will expire after that date even they issued new ticket for 23rd Of May It looks that i will not get chance to go Jeddah on this ticket. |

That is scandalous.... Their conduct was utterly outrageous. You had taken all possible measures to address this problem. If you took them to court, I am sure in most jurisdictions you would win. They placed you in a situation in which it was impossible for you to meet their terms and conditions and made no provision to allow for the possibility that someone's card may expire, be stolen etc. It is tantamount to theft.
To rub salt into the wound, how can they say the flight was fully booked? You had a seat booked on that flight... and so it must have been possible for you to re-purchase the seat. Etihad are behaving like some tin-pot dictator making up rules that are utterly ludicrous and one sided. I am shocked they will behave in this high handed manner and appreciate the heads up. I will never use them... I wish you luck in finding a resolution. |

Dear Etihad Rep
Just i saw my bank statement showing that the Etihad refund my cash part to my account. and My Etihad Guest Account showing the Zero Milage. What is This ? means Etihad cancelled my Ticket and withdraw their Miles |

Etihad offer me 20000 mile as a compensation after deduction of my 14000 mile for no show and ticket change and even they refunded my ticket by said the ticket will not be valid on that day. SO far all my pain and expenditure the compensation offered is 6000 mile which i refused. Now if some one can advise what i should do because after that offer they are quite. will be good if go to court because i want this case to win.
