Hi,
Almost a year ago I flew from Nairobi to Mauritius. However, we were 22 hours delayed to a mechancial problem and have to spend an adidtional night in Nairobi. On our way back another delay, this time 5 hours. Finally my suitcase was damaged and I have since April last year tried to get some compensation. Bu so far nothing. I have never experienced such inefficient airline both ground staff and office staff seems to be completely non-committed to their work. Quite unfriendly too. I have sent numerous emails where they apologise but thats it; we are working on the case. |

Yeah, typical of Air Mauritius in particular and the Mauritians in general. The fact is that your situation may be resolved and you will eventually get compensated. But things take a looong time. When dealing with Mauritian people, two words: "be patient". I have come to learn this the hard way.
