Default Animosity

On a March 3 experience my wife and her frail 74 year old mother were in the Phoenix, Arizona terminal where their flight to Green Bay, Wisconsin had been canceled. They were put on standby status and when their names were called they approached the counter where they were greeted by a sarcastic woman agent who accusingly insinuated that they had not raised their hands. There was only one standby seat left. This airline does not get any of its business right! I personally hope this piece of business CRAP goes under so some savvy business can start an airline and run it with some form of excellence and compassion for its customers. I also hope this country can begin rebuilding its antiquated infrastructure and invest in high speed, modern RAILROADS. SCREW you American!

Ummm, it sounds like the agent was joking. Sometimes an attempt at humor can lighten the mood for people, when they have been having a bad day, as this agent, and many of their passengers had been. It seems as though your wife, and her mother took this joke WAY too serious!!
