What Delta did was wrong. If she was an older teenager, that may have had some bearing on how the CSA perceived your daughter's ability to cope. Obviously, they perceived badly.

When you say underage, just how old?

Was your daughter flying on unaccompanied minor status? Meaning you filled out the paperwork, and paid the fee? If you had, then an employee would have been detailed to escort her and take care of everything.

If she wasn't, and by not paying for UM status, you did pretty much drop her off and leave her to the wolves.
