A compliant against Frontier Airlines and the travel advisor used to buy this ticker. I am flying from MCI to Shenyang, China on Mar 9. When trying to check in early I was told that Frontier charges for every bag checked. Twenty dollars each for the first two and fifty dollars for the third. To top that Frontier Airlines does not have agreements with Air China so I was told I have to claim my three bags in SFO Frontier baggage area and carry them to Air China which requires me to check my baggage with Air China and the cost for the first two bags is free and $160.00 for the third.
Nothing against Air China but I will never fly Frontier Airlines again. And I will definitely tell all my friends and family to avoid Frontier.

Baggage policies are determined by the first airline you check-in with. Sounds like your travel agent should have used one of air china's alliance partners so your bags could have been transferred and you would have paid the extra bag fee once.

I agree. You travel agent is rubbish. You should complain to them and don't use them again

You have no legitimate complaint against Frontier. If they don't have a baggage agreement with Air China they can't check your luggage through to them. You probably chose Frontier because it was the cheapest fare. Next time, you, or your travel agent should do a little research before you pick an international itinerary based solely on the cheapest fare.
