Ughh..!!! this experience with spirit airline has become a nightmare, i dint if i would overcome this stressfully situation. my kids dont want to sleep. after sleeping only 2 hours beacuse flight were delay and we miss our connections. beacuse of that. they also broke my kids stroller wich it cost 320. dollars, i dont know what else to do... please anyone know to how i may forward this situation. corporate offices are not helping, employees at airport counter are disrespecfull.....aaaaa...!!! i said never again with this airline... as people said cheap cost....

My suggestion would be to take pictures of the damaged stroller. Take it back to where it was purchased and ask if it can be repaired. They will likely tell you no. Have a manager give you a written note to that affect. Buy the same stroller to replace the damaged one. Submit copies of pictures, note and receipt to Spirit. If they refuse to reimburse you then file in small claims court. It typically costs $5 to $25 dollars depending on where you live and if (when) you win your case the cost of filing will be added to your judgement. Chances are they will either reimburse you or fail to show for the court case. Either way you'll be compensated for erplacing the damaged stroller.
Good luck. (ps. Did you report the damage at the baggage claim office when you arrived? If not it may be difficult to prove the stroller was damaged by Spirit on your trip so all bets may be off then.) (pps. Love your selection of username. Yes, they do!) |

Spot on posting by Ombudsman! Copy complaint to DOT. As they mount up, eventually the DOT will take some notice.... Big issue here is did you report breakage to Spirit at the time. You will win if you did.
