Unbearable behave by Flieght attendants to small child
I would like to make complaint against your flight attendant from non-stop flight CO 83, June 12th from Delhi to Newark. On June 12th I was travelling with my 3 yr little girl on seat 40 D and E and had to face the abusive behavior by your Flight attendants. I do travel regularly, but felt extremely humiliated this time. It happened multiple times during the flight and also includes my 3yr old daughter and that is what is forcing me to lodge this formal complaint. Here is how it unfolded:
(1) For some reason during serving beverages I was completely ignored. I thought this is just an oversight, so I asked for the beverage. In response, flight attendant responded very rudely and much of her response was high tone. It made me felt like I was guilty or something.
(2) During the course of flight when the seat belt sign was off, my 3 yr old daughter was sleeping partly on her seat and partly on my lap. I was holding her tightly and the belt sign was completely off. The Flight attendant came to me and yelled at me "how old is your child"? Put her on seat. I replied her that she is her seat but her head and part of her body is on my lap. She is just 3 and cannot sleep properly in her seat like adults. I also pointed her to some other passengers and politely mentioned that some other folks are also holding their child and flight is moving smoothly with seat belt sign off. In response she yelled at me that "If everyone wants to die you wanna die too". This was very hurtful, disgusting and insulting. I normally admire flight attendants for their politeness and customer care attitude, but never expected behavior like this.
(3) Finally, during taxiing in Newark my daughter started crying badly for restroom but on asking for help the attendant yelled at me "sitdown! That’s your child and control her". I agree that it is not allowed to move during taxiing, but she should not have yelled at me. Once flight properly stopped and i tried to talk to her, she said that I would rather have sick child than dead child.
I never expected this from major airline's non-stop international flight. I always admired continental but this experience makes me think twice about the airline and future travel in this airline.
