Continental Airlines, Newark Airport - Direct flight to Phoenix. As they requested, checked in on-line the day before, as well as one piece of luggage. Arrived at airport 5:30AM for a 6:55AM flight. All we had to do was hand over our one piece of luggage. Continental employee at the line inside told us we had to go to skycap outside. Line was about 20 families long. No one ahead of us checked in early. There were only one or two skycap men working. By the time we got to the skycap, we were locked out of our flight. We went through a lot trying to convince any Continental Employee to help us, to no avail. To make a long story short, we missed the flight by one minute, but our luggage did make the flight....! Rudeness dominated all Continental employees. Unfortunately, I already booked a flight to France months ago with Continental. After this upcoming flight, I will no longer use Continental. JetBlue and US Airways for me.
