Hello
We flight tomorrow with delta from SJO to BCN (Spain) via ATL. I am really surprised that complementary meals are offered only on the ATL to BCN flight, which is going to be around 15 hours after we initiate the flight in SJO since we have a layover of 6 hours in Atlanta. It seems that nowadays no free meals are offered on 6+ hour international flights from latin america, but this is a 22+ hour intercontinental flight with a stop in ATL which should be different. This is really surprising, i feel like a backpacker flying on a low cost airline, but we a re a family with 2 kids flying to Europe with an american airline. Next time I guess I'll choose an European airline. |

US based airlines provide a poor service and are to be avoided. Unfortuately for you, you have chosen the worst of the bunch. I hope your journey doesn't go the way of many....good luck

Your flight is just under 4 hours. Meals are not served in economy on flights that short. You won't find that on any major airline, no matter what. As a general rule, Caribbean flights to and from the United States are classified just like domestic flights, meal-wise and fee-wise.

Any response on this site by "Zappin" should be ignored. "Zappin" is paid by Delta, and is on this board to try to minimize the reaction to the third world service offered by a monopolistic airline.
All U.S. airlines are the same. They are rip-off cargo carriers. It's time for total re-regulation, or total de-regulation. Until then, expect more of the same. |
