Default Wost Airline EVER!

They say you get what you pay for... And I got it! 6 hour delay, $75 bucks spent at restaurant, and they didn't even give me a free water on the plane. They still charged me 4 bucks!

When we arrived at my destination 6 hours late, not even an apology.

I'd rather spend 200 bucks more and get an airline that doesn't have their head up their ass! NEVER AGAIN!

Angry Cancelled & stranded

I booked a flight on Spirit to go see my sick grandmother in Puerto Rico. It was a quick trip where I was flying in Friday night 2/10/12 and returning to Ft. Lauderdale 1st thing Sunday morning 2/12/12.
While getting ready for bed so I can get up for my early morning flight, I received and email stating that my flight was cancelled due to "Maintenance". When I called, I was told the earliest flight available wasn't until 2/15/12. All I kept getting was that they are sorry and there was nothing they could do. I have been cancelled before on American & Delta and they are professional airlines because they either got me on another flight the same day, paid for accomodations for me to stay at a nearby hotel and gave me a meal ticket or made arrangements and paid for another airline. I received none of those options as an alternative. They may have just told me to GFM because they did not care about customer service, only option was to accept their offer to be stranded for several days or make other arrangements. I could not stay because I needed to be back at work on Monday 2/13/12 so I had no choice but to book my return flight on another airline. I travel 1-2 times per month and this experience has taught me to NEVER fly Spirit again. I have decided to stick to Jetblue and Southwest because they cover most of the places I frequent and don't charge for everything ala carte. Better to pay one price and not have to worry about additional charges. I plan to let as many people as possible know about my experience and to give them all a clear warning to steer clear of Spirit Airlines.
