Default Losing Tier Points

I traveled by Club on BA on May 27 and I was awarded 280 Tier Points. I returned on June 10 and I got another 280 Tier Points. Belive it or not, that these points should be more than enough for a Bronze upgrade but since accont aniversary was on June 8, they expired the 280 points I earned in May - in 10 days... When I called Ex club, not only she acted like a jerk but would not agree. How do you points in 10 days. She says it is in Terms and conditions and I DONT SEE THEM THERE at all. BA is just a crook always screwing customers. SOmeone should sue them. I am not British and they would probably k their a but not a non-british. In 13 months I accrued 720 points which should be for SIlver and they deny these little perks. Hope thay rot in hell.

This is how the club works, and you would have seen it when you logged into BA.com. It states right on the front page the date your membership year ends. You states that you "accrued" 720 points in 13 months - if this is the case, then you would have already been Bronze no matter when they deducted them.

By the way, do you know BA just changed the club totally making it easier to tier-up? It used to be, if you made silver (600 points) all your points would reset, and you'd need to get another 1600 points to make Gold. Now it doesn't reset once you reach a tier - it's now way, way more easy to move up through the ranks.

Default Tier Points restored

actually, it does reset and if you take trip around your anniversary date, you lose the points as seen clearly in my statement. HOWEVER, after an email to few people in BA as suggested in an earlier post (THANKS A LOT!), BA has resolved this case to my satisfaction. I can't thank them enough as they seem to correct such anamolies immediately. I am sorry for my rude behaviour earlier. Seems to me that people do listen and take care of things to be fair. I am now a believer of the system and in future I will probably approach these types of problems (not just BA but any other service provider) with some respect and faith. Thanks to all. My apologies if I have offended anyone.
