Angry Warn Everyone about El Al Airlines!!!

Don't ever be fooled into taking a flight on El Al!!! On June 6, 2012, I flew on this airline, Flt. LY7 from Tel Aviv to New York. About 1 1/2 hour into the flight, I began to throw up from the food they had served me (the only food I had eaten that day). Through the entire flight, the flight attendants didn't help me as I threw up repeatedly. I was traveling alone. I asked to move away from the screaming 16 month old child next to me, but they said they couldn't do that. I staggered back to the galley 3 times to exchange my blankets which had vomit on them. I had to beg for mint tea or water to drink. They said they would "Get to me after they served a meal." at one point, but they never did. It was an UNBELIEVABLE flight ~ the stewardesses actually had time to repeatedly flirt with a male passenger sitting only a few feet from me, but couldn't help me out! I was SO sick. When we landed, not one of them asked me if I needed any help or assistance. I wrote a registered letter to the company about the incidence, but they never responded or apologized... UNBELIEVABLE...You may think you are saving money or time with this airline, but BE WARNED, don't EVER fly this airline!!!!

It's highly unlikely that the food served on board that flight was responsible. Food poisoning does not manifest itself within 90 minutes but more within 24 to 48 hours. Now, this does not justify the lack of assistance even if it is true that it may have been a problem for them to help you in the middle of the meal service whilst they were busy serving food to a plane load of other passengers.

Angry NO ONE should be treated this way!!

While clearly suffering as I was, to receive barely any assistance during a 12 (14) hour flight from trained flight attendants is truly unbelievable!! I begged them for large trash bags after throwing up on myself, twice trying to use the little bags which were provided. When I went back to exchange my soiled blanket, an attendant said to me, "You know, you have vomit down the front of your blouse." DUHH.....!! They were NOT serving other passengers that entire time. As I said, the stewardess had plenty of time to flirt with a man in a wing seat, as well as with his friend. I have never complained about any flight before, and I have had many overseas flights, but I wanted to warn others about the atrocious treatment I received on El Al Airlines before they made the mistake of trusting this airline with their wellbeing . To not even receive a reply to my certified letter which I sent to their company is thoughtless!!!
