I recently had an issue with AA and my ticket - named and email wrong so i couldn't check in and was going to have trouble with TSA. I tried to fix on the phone with reservations, but after an hour I had no luck. Showed up at Logan and explained my situation to the woman at ticketing. She brought out Henry Diaz, the manager. I explained my frustration and how I had been given the run around. He offered - rather than fixing my reservation problem - to give me his business card with a group 2 boarding note on it. I was stunned and said, "Wow, this is beyond stupid." referring tot the run around I had been given.
He looked at me and said, "Oh really, this is beyond stupid...You remember that...here I am going out of my way to help you... but no,... this is beyond stupid to you" in a hugely snotty tone of voice. So...I had to go to security and OF COURSE, I couldn't get in because MY NAME WAS SPELLED INCORRECTLY NOT BY ME and AA didn't fix it. So, back to Henry who now decides he will have fun with me. Told me he could fix my ticket but would have to charge me 150 for it because I wasn't nice. I told him, fine - and then he said, "Yeah..well you get to go back to ticketing and wait in that line because I can't do anything here." And that point I asked him if he was looking to punish me. He snottily asked for my license, took his sweet time fixing my name on the ticket and essentially flung it back at me. UNBELIEVABLE. RUN...Don't walk away from AA...and if you have problems in Boston, expect to be treated like dirt. |
