Poor Customer Service- No human consideration
We have booked the Unaccompanied minor ticket directly to Etihad Airways, INDIA for my son.
First issue started, while booking they charged our card two times extra without informing me. Till date, we have not received back the money. No response to my mails and complaints.
SECOND MAJOR ISSUE : On on-boarding day my brother went to on-board my son and Etihad airport manager has informed that flight has delayed to departure so we are not able to accept your 10 year old son as intermediate stop over flight will be delayed by 4 hours and Etihad was not able safeguard the child if waiting is more than 4 hours.. Without any human consideration they have sent out my son at midnight without assuring any alternative arrangements. My son spent 8 hours in airport and on-boarded another airlines flight and reached after 24 hours due irresponsible customer service. Etihad official played that night and not taken any responsibility but told that they will refund full air ticket.
THIRD MAJOR ISSUE : When we contacted the Airlines next day, they told that this ticket is not cancelled so they are not going to refund the money.
And Customer Service person simply replied back. Several mail and calls, no response from Customer Service. I planned to approach legal forum, whether i am going to get my money back or not but it should not happen to any one.
