When our flight from Frankfort to SFO was delayed for 2 hours due to mechanical we missed our connection to Eugene. It was the last flight of the day and they would not hold the plane for 5 minutes. We had cleared customs and rechecked our bags. United now had the cost of rooms and meals for 5 minute delay??? I could get no explanation from anyone at 2 customer service desks that night.
And, maybe worst of all, not a single Customer Service employee, even the supervisor with whom I spoke offered a simple apology, "sorry for your inconvenience." When I mentioned this oversight, he just stared at me. Ugly night!! |
