It is about my luggage missed on 14th of May in Miami during the flight from Chicago to Curitiba (Brazil), with a connection in Miami. We are in the 20th and it has not arrived until now. Complaint/track code THKMWW.
My used iMac 27", with all my personal and professional data - I am federal appellate judge and I have many documents stored in it - as well some electronics (iPhone, Mac book air charger etc.) vanished during my flight from Chicago do Curitiba, with a connexion in Miami, as described a dozen of times to Brazilian staff. I need to work with my computer and I am very concerned with all the data I can possibly lost or that can be in wrong hands. I have about 500 payed academic articles, my thesis, all my banking data, videos e pictures covering the last 19 years of my children's life, sentences and opinions involving legal process I held involving public and private litigation etc. Further, all my electronics are inside the box - i can not even make even a call properly. I am not receiving any plausible explanation about the case. The staff simply does not care about the situation. There is no valid explanation for this delay. All the reasons given are at this time unjustifiable. I payed for extra luggage and it is time to sue the airline about this very serious situation. At least, I would be less terrible if someone else could hear this situation, to avoid it happens again with another costumer. Only punishment accordingly to legislation will deter this kind of neglect behavior. Best, Claudia Cristofani |
