Downgraded!
HOW DOES DELTA REWARD ITS MOST LOYAL CUSTOMERS? Today I was upgraded, then after everyone else had boarded and all the space was taken I was DOWN-GRADED. The gate agent had cleared the upgrade list. Then after a party of four showed up late when the plane was ready to leave, they downgraded me and three others. What should have happened was the late passengers should have been re-assigned on another flight. My paid seat has been given away whenever I am late. I have never seen anyone DOWN-GRADED after having been upgraded. What kind of business does that, and to their most frequent flyers? I am a longtime Diamond Medallion and a Million Miler.
