Default Ba0487

Today I was in barcellona el prat, due to take the BA0487 fly to london heathrow. I passed the security checks and went to the displayed area and gate with large advance. I sat down in a cafe nearby and waited for my gate to open. I have not heard any clear information announced, however when I went to the gate where I thought my fly was going to be, it displayed an info redirecting me to another gate, and therefore I moved to the displayed new gate. However it was not the correct one for my fly as I later fund out, I was going to heathrow and I was redirected to a gate for a gatwick fly, and unfortunately I was told too late and I lost my fly. I still cannot believe that despite being on the correct area so in advance I could not hear any clear announcement about the changes. I had to leave the gates, got o the airline desk and buy a new ticket for tomorrow. I was at the gates well in time, I was not listening to earplug music or doing anything, just waiting for my boarding to be called, and it is incredible how badly the announcements and information on gate changes has been dealt with.
