Angry Rule change at their wish. Different rules for different people

I live in USA. I had a trip to India. While going to India I travelled in Qatar airlines, it was an amazing trip with the worlds best airlines.

But Unfortunately, I have booked an Etihad airlines flight while returning back to USA from India. Here comes the problem. I was in the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, Hyderabad on June 26th, 2016 at 6PM, was trying to check in my luggage. The lady representative there told me she cannot allow my Cabin + Laptop bag. I was shocked to hear that and asked her what she meant by she cannot allow; for that she said she will only allow one cabin bag and cannot allow a laptop bag. Are you kidding me Etihad? My brother travelled in Etihad from the same Hyderabad Airport to USA with connection at Abu Dhabi and he carried both Cabin+Laptop bags. But this lady did not allow to carry both for me. Why the heck are they imposing different rules on different people. I pleaded and requested but failed. She was not ready to listen. When in the seven hells does an airline stop allowing a laptop bag?

What do you expect us? Leave our Office laptop bag in the airport?

And I did that finally. I threw my laptop bag in the airport and stuffed my laptop in a fully packed cabin bag. Huh!

They literally tried to loot me for money just by imposing some unknown, newly born rules on me. This is RIDICULOUS on part of such a great and reputed airlines. I believe its my right to demand an explanation and rightful justice for the ugly treatment and huge inconvenience caused to me by Etihad representative at Hyderabad International Airport.
