Please see below my claim to Norwegian, that they refused to compensate... In a nutshell, they sent SMS that their flight is delayed more than 9 hours (equals canceled to EU laws). And once I learned that I am entitled for 400 eur compensation and bought new tickets, they sent another SMS that flight will be on time... This would be really funny, unless I would not manage to buy new tickets already ....


Here are some additional details for the claim.
1) Please see attached copy of SMS that I received when landed in Barcelona with flight from Riga (Airbaltic) 2) I had to manage land in Tenerife before 5pm, and would have made it, if not Norwegian Air delayed by more than 5 hours (to 00:00 28.03) 3) I went to Norwegian service center in Terminal 2 Barcelona, and they confirmed that flight is signifficantly delayed. They explained, that I am entitled for 400 EUR compensation (copy of clarification attached)
4) I went to nearest Spanish airline (Vueling) and managed to buy tickets for 810 eur, with departure time 12:00 am. so that I was managing per my agenda of getting to Tenerife before 5pm. Tickets copy attached
I would like to recieve fastest possible compensation for this issue (2 x 400 EUR).
I am copying to this e-mail also our consumers rigths protection beaurau, in case there will be some further legal clarifications needed.
