Booking with this airline (and their affiliate network) is just a nightmare, if you wish to have any alternations on your flights and/or additional requests.
First issue with this booking agent was they will CHARGE you a hefty amount for any communication (only done through the phone after providing them your credit/debit card information). I booked a ticket from Wuhan (China) with final destination Larnaca (Cyprus). The link they provided does not include neither airlines that I would be using. I tried to contact them in China but the phone number could not be reached multiple times (while still being charged by the Chinese phone company each attempt). I have tried through emails but also no respond, thus I contacted each specific airline to enquire of my issues and both stated that they have no additional information regarding my ticket until it would be check-in time, but usually such long flight tickets as mine would allow up to 30kg luggage . At the date of the flight my first flight from Wuhan to Beijing with Hainan Airlines costed me around 27 Euro for the extra cost (6 kg more than their minimum allowed 23kg) which seemed okay as it was a short domestic flight. However upon attempting to check-in for the second flight the clerk at S7 desk told me that they cancelled my flights due to absence of VISA in my passport! I stated that I had no information regarding any requirements from my booking agent as they is no mention of leaving the airport or switching of terminals within the ground of Russia. The clerk saw my tickets and tried multiple times to contact Bravofly also unsuccessfully and told me after seeing me in panic mode that it happens with such agents and to be more cautious next time. I immediately contacted my parents back in Cyprus to ask them to call Bravofly and after trying several times and being charged 16 euro for a 3 minute call it resulted to absolutely no result as the call centre Representative stated to speak with the clerk which resulted in me arguing with the clerk further as the blame was passed on from booking agent and the clerk (with many additional costs just to contact this booking agent...). Eventually I had to buy another ticket with a different booking agent. After many days of trying to communicate with Bravofly regarding my refund I received an email stating that my total refund is only 3.24$! I was outraged was again with it as that money would pay for my food for the following month. Thankfully I stumbled upon an email for Bravofly, sofia@bravofly.com, and upon complaining I received a bogus reply regarding the luggage costs and the "no show" penalties! After protesting regarding the issue I have not yet received a reply from them and still awaiting for a more accurate answer. I strongly discourage anyone in using this booking agent as the customer service and their conduct in general lacks basic professionality. P.S. Excuse my long post and my nagging but I hope for other to avoid such a horrible experience, if anyone had a similar issue and has any suggestions that I could follow please contact me. |
