l am very upset with Thai airways fare promotion. Never booked with them unless its the lowest fare. l make a booking and paid for it o a thursday, less than 24 hours, l found out the dates l wanted, the promotional fare previously not available was now available. To make a change, Thai airways charges a penalty fee of $200, half the amount of the travel fare. It was very very upseting and a lousy feeling that "l should have waited one more day". YOu feel lousy and really like beat yourself over your stupidity. l call the airline's hotline and appealed to them to allow the change without penalty since its less 24 hours and then promotional fares were made available. They made me hold for 20 mins while she checked . She came back, "oh, mdm, sorry, you want change you have to pay $200 per pax." Promotional fare suddenly become available was due to KIV passengers did not pay up. So means what? l had gone online at the wrong day and time? Why don't they make people pay up especially its "offer price" 48 hours later, l check thier webpage again, horrors, better dates are now on offer... What can l do with such an airline?
