Nightmare Trip to London with WOW airlines
I and two of my daughters bought a ticket online from Justfly.com to U.K. . We were supposed to fly from Logan, Boston airport on July26,2018 and fly back from London to Boston on August 9. 2018.
One of my daughters get sick and her primary physician said she could not fly. We called Justfly.com and told them our situation. They told us they cannot do anything about it, since our ticket was nun-refundable, but we sugest you call WOW airlines and talk to them. I called WOW calling center and the person I talked to told me they can change the dates but I have to pay $656 dollars for penalty to change the date. I paid the $656 , but when I printed the Itinerary the other morning there was $1200 extra as shown. The ticket we bought ffor $1907 round trip for three of us came up $3550.
I and one of my daughters decided to fly on July 26,2018 so do not have to end up paying $3500 for the change. We went to the airport early at 12 p.m. They did not clear us to have our boarding passes before 6 p.m. We did not have choice but to leave our car at the airport economy carriage.
On August 9, 2018, we went to Gatwick, London airport to fly back at 8a.m. The guy at the WOW counter told us we were supposed to fly from Logan airport on August 13, 2018 and fly back to Boston on August 25, 2018. We told him to let us fly to London July 26,2018 and we here now trying to go back. He asked us to prove that we did fly on August 26, we did. By calling their call center after five hours we were told that we can not fly that day. We have to pay $1500 and have 16 hours layover in Iceland.
We have to go back to London, and buy another ticket from another airline for $890.
We have to pay $455 for the economy garage in Boston.
To my humble opinion it seems this WOW airline is scam airline and they have to be investigated. I am requesting to be how I can get my money back?
Yours Sincerely
Abdi G. Musa
