Contracted service to deliver lost bags
My flight was out of Dallas departing into Tucson, Arizona. I checked in two bags in Dallas and only received one upon my arrival to Tucson. I was told that a delivery service would deliver my lost bag as soon as they could. I was given a 1-800 number to call and check the status. I called the number around 6:00pm to find that the delivery company JDI Courier Services had picked up my bag and was in route. Time had passed and I was getting very tired since I had been up all day traveling. At 12:00 am in the morning I decided to call the delivery company to see what time they where going to arrive. When I called and asked what time they were going to arrive, the guy on the other end snapped at me and said listen lady you don't know who you're messing with, I've had a bad day and for that I'm not delivering you your bags now you will have to pick them up at the airport. I called the 1-800 number and told them what had happened. I gave the agent the phone number of the delivery driver and she called him while I was holding. He lied and told her I was rude to him and therefore was not going to bring me my bag. The agent told me there was nothing she could do and told me to call the next day. I got no where the next day and eventually had to go back to the airport and pick up my own bag that they had lost. The flight I was on was not delayed, was on time and one of my bags made it. I don't know what happens to these bags, but I'm sure about one thing, American Airlines does not care about thier customers and doesn't have thier best interest in mind. Your just another number.
