Tony Ryan and Michael O'Leary are as Irish as they come, so the Irish will have to take some of the blame...although O'Leary spent some time looking at the Southwest model! He took the low cost philosophy, but took the friendly, customer focus and turned it on its head. Instead, he is belligerant and hostile to everyone and the rest of the staff working for this god forsaken company take his lead!

I guess the they took the best of both worlds, the cheap american, and the grumpy irish..........
