Didn't mars just give you one that was only resolved at the top of the climb?

I defer to an earlier post that my posts must be invisible or parts are ignored. Here is what I asked for......

Well, ok, it is getting a bit pedantic now..but the only reason that in mars complaint the child was not separated for the entire flight was the the passengers refused to carry out the lawful instruction of the FA. It was nothing to do with the airline or their employees. On another flight, mars could have found himself in jail.

How did you know my middle name?? Pedantic. I think this horse is dead. We all agree that kids need to be next to their parent(s) Airlines need to take care of this without question.

Default its about to happen....

look at my comments about changing of seats by computer, humans can not change back and tell me how 2 parents can sit w 3 kids if not next to eachother...... Again, why should we have to wait until 30 minutes b4 the flight and hope when computer override could solve the issue much earlier by restoring/change back to the previous/functioning seating.. I think it sad if technology can show soccer from S Africa on your phone and airlines can't have good computerprograms nor human overrides.

I do have a complaint about that also..One of the reasons I rarely fly is the fact airlines have gotten very flexable with seating so it is harder for families to set together. I wish airlines would treat their customers like they did 30 years ago. Flying was nice not a hassle.
The train is much better for family trips or the car.

just saying.

But would you be willing to pay the fares (adjusted for inflation and fuel costs) of 30 years ago?

The market has spoken in that matter.

I'll consider the train when I have DAYS to get somewhere, and being an ex-railroad engineer, you don't want to know of the hazards of rail travel.

That is why I make the time to have days to travel on train. I have been traveling by train on and off for the last 15 years or more. I have had family who travels even more then I do.

On a train you don't have to pay extra for bagage and carry-ons. You have beautiful views and a nice comfy seat even in coach. The food is good and the people are interesting.

If people weren't so much in a hurry and if the U.S would make the railways more available and faster then the airlines will get a clue and going back to treating their passangers with more respect.
