LAN Stranding
I had a valid boarding pass for LA4643 Santiago to Buenos Aries. The boarding pass was issued earlier that day by my carrier qantas. When I went to board this chaotic flight after already having been travelling for 17 hours from sydney the LAN staff said the plane was already full due to overbooking and to catch the next plane. Then when I went to catch the next plane the staff treated me with disdain and said that maybe I would get a seat. I had do remind them I was still there. They then asked for my boarding pass which they had already taken and just before the plane left they counted every boarding pass and made some phone calls and said just find a seat somewhere. We can't give you a seat number.
Shocking. I,ve written to complain to One World and my Frequent Flyer program but wondered if anyone knew of a direct email for LAN?
