It is September 7, 2012. I am sitting at the Terminal A United Club at EWR. I am booked of flight 4676 from EWR to RDU. When I arrived I saw that we are delayed from 2:50 to 5:30 due to an ATC Delay. However upon further investigation I discovered that the flight that makes up my flight UA 4661 from Montreal had landed but was at a different gate. We have now been assigned flight 4673 from ALB that does not even leave ALB until after 3 pm (now delayed to 4:09 for ATC but this is clearly an equipment change prior to that ATC delay). We were further delayed until 6:50 or a full 4 hours. Again no one in the terminal, club or customer service can explain why there was the equipment change that caused the delay. No one will respond either. I encourage a full boycott of UAL until they can learn to provide up front, honest communication to their customers. I am a 1K united flyer but I am not investigating other alternatives.
