Default Lost Eye glasses worth $663 in the overhead bin

Folks,

I lost my eye glasses in the overhead bin of the aircraft. I had sent mails to many email id's , baggage ground staff and the local airport Etihad manager. After many follow up he had given up saying that the glasses are not traceable.

I had submitted my claim form and no one is responding back. What should I do ? The claim form also clearly states a section for Unchecked Baggage also. I was told by a couple of call center personnel that I am eligible to claim such kind of losses and advised me to raise a claim form.

Please advise what i should do .. now

Thanks in advance

In what way are Etihad responsible for this? You do not merit compensation in these circumstances and you are being unreasonable in asking for it.
