Delta waited until midnight to cancel the flight. Delta left my minor son stranded in DETROIT. No Delta officials to help. My MINOR son was referred to a kiosk to print out a hotel voucher for a hotel 15 miles away in DETROIT after MIDNIGHT. No transportation was arranged to the hotel for my MINOR son left in DETROIT after MIDNIGHT by Delta. This left me with no choice but to drive 4 hours to pick him up after MIDNIGHT.
This all after Delta got the flight arrangements wrong in the first place leaving me to pay $250 extra since they scheduled the flight on the wrong day.
I would like a refund for the entire price of the travel for my MINOR son, XXXXXX X XXXXX. I would also like to be reimbursed for the mileage to and from DETROIT and my time to drive through the night. I would also like a refund for the $250 I was charged to correct Delta's error in booking the flight in the first place.

How old was your child and was he in the Unaccompanied Minor program? If he was, and is under 14, you might consider reporting Delta to Child Protective Services for neglect. He was in their care.
