Has anyone else had trouble getting through to aa customer service?
I have reservations for an upcoming trip at the end of the month. It can only be changed by an agent over the phone. Several of my other arrangements depend on whether I can make the changes. I've been trying to get through to customer service for the last 3 days, during the days, evenings and in the wee hours of the night. After calling several different numbers and going through all the prompts, the message comes on that due to weather conditions, customer service agents are all busy and to call back later or go on line. Then they hang up. No options for a call back, or for on-line chat...nothing! No explanations as to when they will be available. If I were stranded somewhere and needing to change my reservations immediately, I would be up the creek without a paddle. I can't find any news items addressing this. I called what they have listed as the customer complaint line and was put through to cargo service, got a real person, who told me they're busy now and not answering the phones. Has something so catastrophic happened that they can't answer their phones for 3 days? How can they run an airline like this? Anybody have any ideas on how to get through?
