I acknowledge racism is real and should be eradicated however to use claims of it as a sledgehammer is patently wrong.
"suffered insult, indifferent, or other forms of racist behavior" Difficulty I have with this is so lousy customer service can be interpreted as racism and yet it may be simply because you are in Philly (a city they serve).
Ironically those that brandish racism as a weapon often come from countries that are amongst the most intolerant. The US isn't perfect with respect to race relations but name a country that is... and why aren't you there instead of here?
