Cannot get a refund
I have been attempting to get a refund for 6 months with British Air with no success. I have filed a BBB complaint and a complaint with the New York Attorney General but have not been refunded the money lawfully owed to me by BA.
I purchased 4 first class tickets from Chicago to San Diego. Through no fault of our own our plane was delayed and we were downgraded to economy. I have simply been trying to obtain the difference in the ticket fare since August when we flew. British Airways has assigned multiple case numbers and has sent me correspondence asking for my boarding passes. I have sent them my boarding passes but they still (6 months later) have not refunded me the difference in fare.
Recently I have sent correspondence to the British Air CEO and others in the company in hopes of getting some resolve. I am considering a small claims action with our local jurisdiction if I don't hear back in the next couple of weeks.
