Unprofessional attitude of saudi airlines- compensation needed
I boarded the flight SV760 from Riyadh to Delhi at 10.10am ON 14.07.2016. When the plane tried to take off , the pilot put on the emergency brakes seconds before takeoff stating engine problem and we were dropped back at the gate. Our lives were saved by a whisker. There was chaos in the plane. When asked about the new departure time, they were no concrete answers from the saudi management. People asking for food, those missing their connecting flights, trains from Delhi all were hesistant to raise their voice but were frustrated to say the least.
I had a flight to catch from Delhi at 8.00pm and I missed it as SV 761 landed at 12.00 in the night instead of scheduled 4.40 pm arrival time. When asked about the compensation , I was totally refused and sidelined. This type of attitude from a professional airline towards its customers is not warranted and it should get back to us with answers and clarifications as why were we asked to board a flight with engine problem and what they will do for passengers who have suffered because of their insensitive attitude.
