Malindo Air delayed my flight for 2 hours
I traveled on 29-December-2016 with Malindo from Penang to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). At first, there was an announcement that my flight will be delayed for 45 minutes. The reason was classic - "technical problem". After 45 minutes, the flight still not took off, and went to 2 hours delay causing me to miss my connecting flight.
I had to purchase a new ticket and it costed me money. I was so tired and frustrated. Worse, it was my birthday that day, and I missed a birthday dinner with my wife because of that delay. I will never forget and forgive Malindo Air for that.
I checked with Malindo Air counter at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, and a lady officer told me that Malindo Air will compensate to me no matter what happened. I called their customer care hotline just to be sure, and I got same answer that Malindo will compensate. But when I tried to claim to Malindo Air, and best they could do was apologizing. It seems like the staff themselves did not know what to do and how to handle. It was so frustrating.
I really really do not recommend anyone to fly with this airline. Not even when it is your last resort.
