Flying with Turkish Airline was the worst experience of my life.. I’ll have stress every time I want to board for the rest of my life and it was all a mistake by this airline.

I had two connection flights from my departure country to Melbourne. First was in Istanbul and second in Jakarta. When I was transiting in Istanbul in Turkey,I was not allowed to board in Istanbul because they said I need a transit visa in Jakarta (My destination was Melbourne). This was a mistake as Jakarta does not any visa if your transit is less than 24 hours.

After they did not allow me to board and after checking with Turkish airline’s staff I booked another flight through HongKong to Melbourne (I got the ticket for $4000aud) and shockingly I wasn’t allowed to board again for the same reason. Which made me super angry as their staff told me it’s fine and I don’t need a transit visa through Hong Kong. After I complained that your staff confirmed that I can do a visa free transit in Hong Kong they realised they made a mistake and gave me another flight 14 hours later (I was super frustrated and they didn’t offer me any hotel stay or food).

after coming home (Melbourne), I checked with Indonesia and they said I didn’t need a transit visa. So I was living in the airport for more than 24 hours because of the mistake their staff made. They ruined my vacation and I lived in the airport for more than 24 hours.
