Default Baggage was totally DESTROYED, told to get lost

File number K87VTF

Baggage was totally DESTROYED in pieces and all contents flattened. It looked like it had been ran over by the plane.

Was told they would take care of any damage under these conditions. Sent a claim for over $5000.00 received a check for $509.00 and told to get lost. No one would return my calls or e-mails.

Very unhappy with United I should have been treated better.

I sort of agree with BH here. What was in the bag for you to submitt a claim over over 5 grand?

True, but at the same time nobody called this person out at the time, and they needed it.
