Exclamation Getting What You Pay For

I know airlines are in money trouble and need all the revenue they can get but charging for servies when you recieve nothing is very bad PR. If they want to charge for a soda, so be it you get a soda. Last Monday my daughter in law took my grandchild ( age 11 ) to the PHX airport for checkin to SEA, she was told it would be $75 extra for an unacompied minor, she paid and then took the kid to the gate a watched her board, the airline did NOTHING. When asked how she was treated the child stated just like everyone else. The return flight the samething, $75 for nothing, ( my daughter in law though the $75 charge was for a round trip ticket). I took the child to the gate and watched her board, the airline did NOTHING. I hear they do the same thing for small dogs you can hold in your lap.
when you pay $150 for nothing, it puts a bad taste in some poeple's mouth.
