Default Unfair Fees

I booked a flight on Delta.com where they put in the wrong month for the return trip. I contacted Delta explaining the error expecting them to see their mistake a return the $150.00 fee...all they did was write me back explaining the rules...Very Unfair and I will not fly with them again. I work for an international company and have sent a mass email asking all not to fly or book with Delta.

If YOU went to Delta.com and booked the flight... uhmmmmm how did THEY book the incorrect return date? isn't it all based on YOUR input? just curious...

I used their calender and it assisgned me to March and not February (I picked Feb.). $150.00 charge for making my own changes on the web is nuts...

when you pulled up the calander it was more than likely on jan. when you hit the arrow to show feb. you proably didn't give it enough time so hit the arrow again and put in march. but when you hit to purchase the tickets, didn't you look at the dates before you hit that button to purchase the tickets?? i find this your mistake...an easy mistake to make (i've done it when booking hotels)

I made a similar error when booking a flight on Continental; however, when I got the confirmation email immediately after I made the booking and noticed my error, I phoned Continental and there was no problem since it was a short time between the booking and the phone call. I'm very surprised Delta wouldn't do the same thing. Did you call them immediately after you made the error?

Me too.. I did this with a BMI flight.. but I called them right away. They changed it without a fee, as I had notified them immediately. But this guy is dealing with Delta and the culture in Delta ain't customer friendly. Chalk it up to experience, and choose your carrier's carefully.
