Not bad but could improve
I usually do not fly US Airways but flew into BWI yesterday from Columbus Ohio.
1. Had a tough time logiing into my USAir account. Since it was unused for some time, had trouble online/telephone in accessing my account.
2. Onward flights were uneventful-actually the seats were good. Decided not to pay extra for seats. Many empty seats, The charge of fee for coffee/softdrinks etc was a rude awakening after getting these free in Delta.
3. Return flight was delayed and the gate agent at Gate 37 BWI was not very helpful. Practically barked at everyone who approached her. Since I had a fairly comfortable connecting time, I was not worried. Those who has closer connections were little reluctant to approach her. But she was very professional in getting the results! The time at the posted gate was never changed to rerlect the actual time of deperture.
4. TSA at the BWI could improve. When a yong kid comes to in TSA uniform comes within inches of your face, looks in your eye specifically asks you, "sir, how are you doing?"-it might have been a friendly gesture- but you start frantically wondering what have I done? I am a quite-leave me alone person-often would like to be in the corner of a room looking at the crowd!
Complaints-none-I wish there were peanuts and coffee.
