I Book A Flight On Continental From Dallas To Orange County For 4 Including My Grandbaby (age 5) Who Was Joining Us On The Flight From Houston To Orange County.
The Ticket Agent Was Informed That I Had To Pick-up The 5 Year Old From Security And Bring Her To The Plane. Before I Got Back, The Agent Gave My Seat And My Grandbaby Set To Stand-by Passengers. The Pilot Called The Agent At The Gate And Told Her To Let Me Back On The Plane And She Refused. So My Husband And Daughter On The Plane Had To Leave Me And The Grandbaby In The Houston Airport. It Took Us 9 Hours Later In The Airport To Finally Get A Flight Out Of Houston To Meet Me My Daughter And Husband. Continental Has No Remorce About The Situaton At All. This Was My First Flight Ever And My Last And I Hope Everyone In The World Stops Flying Continental And They Close The Doors. The Was The Worst Situation/experience I Have Ever Had In My Life. I Would Walk To California Before I Ever Book Another Flight With Them Again. |

If you are not onboard the airplane, at least, 15 minutes prior to departure, your seat is given away. The same rule exists with every airline. The gate agent has an obligation to get the flight out on time, or she/he gets in trouble!
