DONT MAKE rEWARD RESERVATIONS ON LINE @ AA.COM
I spent a whoe evening making a reservation for a reward ticket on line. the itenerary was a bit complicated - NYC-Calgary wich demanded an overnight at Dallas. After finally choosing the right flights andpressed continue, I was told that I should pick a different flight of call customer service. I did not say why, so I tried a few different flights, but still the same probelm. I called customer service to make the reservation, but they made me pay the extra 60$. I have been told by the representivie CLEARLY that if I made the SAME reservation on-line, I would not have to pay, and it is possible to make the reservation online. After been told that I tried again, but didn't work out. Only after calling aa.com I understood that a stop-over flight cna not be made over the Web. WHY ISN'T IT STATED ON THE WEB SITE? DON'T THEY CARE ABOUT THE CONVENEINCE OF THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS? OR THEY PREFER TO HIDE AT THE BEGINING THE ADDITIONAL CHARGES, EVEN IF IT WASESTS THE CUSTOMERS TIME.
ALL IN ALL, THE REWARDS THEY ARE GIVING OUT IN BUNDDELS, AREN'T WORTH THE CHIP THEY ARE STORED IN - WE WASTED TIME AND HAD TO PAY SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS ANYWAYS. THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS USING REWRDS AS GARBAGE!!!!!! DONT GO FOR AA REWARDS!!!!!!!!!!
