Angry Ticket Prices from the Turks and Caicos Islands

I AM TO HAPPY TO ACTUALLY SEE A SITE THAT WILL ALLOW ME TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THOSE NO GOODERS AT AMERICAN AIRLINES (the people who decide pricing).
Why does it cost up to $400 more to travel from Providenciales to Miami than from Nassau (Bahamas) to Miami? Aint like they are soooo far apart. This is to unfair to the people of the TCI it makes us feel like not travelling ecspecially when we have no other airline to decide (aka AA competition).
Besides this, why on earth should we pay almost half of an adult ticket (children 12 mnths tickets are the same as and adult) for and INFANT WITH NO SEAT?!!!!! That is just STUPID. And last they are totally wrong for charging kids the same as adults.

See, my 2 last complaints wouldn't bother me much if the tickets were just resonable. Rite now I have to pay $2500.00+ for 2 adults and 2 children and an infant by the time i reach my destination how much would I have left to spend?????????

When I was living in the Bahamas this wasn't a problem because AA had competition with every other airline there is. $250 was the most i ever paid for a roundtrip ticket to get into Miami. Now I am paying almost $600 for myself and kids (including my 8 mnth old).

And the tickets go up every other week its too much even if i purchase the ticket a month in advance.

American Airline is taking advantage of the Turks and Caicos Islands and they need to quite it!!!!

You could make a similar comparison to mainland US cities Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio. Delta has a nub @CVG and prices to/from there are steep while fares at nearby DAY are much lower.

The reason they charge infants is that on international flights all passengers, including infants, must have a ticket. They usually charge 10% of the adult fare plus taxes and fees. Since those taxes and fees aren't based on the ticket price they are the same for an infant. For example if the adult fare is $500 USD plus $75 in taxes the infant fare would be $50 USD plus the same $75 in taxes.
