Angry Very rude,moody,uninformative boarding attendent

Delta Flight 170 2/16/2010 Boarding attendent was super rude to everyone who looked at her. I didn't catch her name but would like someone from Delta to contact me with it so I can put in a more formal complaint. It was obvious that she was not a people person and Delta should not have her in that position.

Could you provide specifics please? A job like that does require good people skills but were the circumstances unusual for air travel? Were you delayed for hours and everyone in line was giving that agent a hard time? If not, I think the readers deserve to know more than just a couple of sentences of venting with no specifics. Please provide more information. Thanks.

Default Specifics

Gate attendant was very short with everyone.
Nobody was late, delayed, or in anyway disrespectful to her.
She was just making sure everyone there understood that she was having
a bad day.

Me and my wife were there early. Boarding for the flight was set for 1:00PM to 1:45PM and everything was showing on time. At 1:00pm me and my wife approached the gate to wait for permission to board. The lady did not make eye-contact with us for about five minutes. When she did she gave us a funny look like she was mad or upset and then looked away again. She then unhooked the strap that blocked the pathway. We walked up to the entrance with our boarding passes in hand. She then with another angry look responded with "Are you handicap or something".
I said no. She then said you will have to wait. So We stepped back to wait. The handicap people boarded then she announced to the people waiting "ya'll can come on ladies". My wife walked back up. The woman then ask my wife "Are you first class?". My wife said no. The woman then said "well your going to have to wait". We then decided to sit down and wait instead of getting rude back with the woman. My wife decided to get at the end of the zone 3 line being that our ticket was zone 4. I stayed seated. When my wife approached the gate I walked up to her in line. The gate attendant said "Are you breezeway?" and I said "no", she then responded with "So, you're just gonna walk up and break everyone in line are you." I politely said "yes I am".

The polite response to our first encounter would have been "Sir, what boarding zone is your ticket?"

After all of the delays with the line due to the inconsiderate gate attendant, we were 10 minutes after takeoff before we actually boarded the plane.

No offense but it sounds like you tried to board early numerous times. Not a federal crime but why not wait until it's your turn? Also, from your description, I fail to see where she was rude in dealing with a person who tried to board out of turn several times and in the end, actually did.
