No Supervisors? Major Problems!
My husband and I are heading from Portland to Tulsa for a family meeting. We originally were told that we had to be in Tulsa later than we actually do. Due to the error, we need to change our flights. While I understand that there are fees I thought it was absolutely crazy that we were being asked to pay $109 each to change our flights to the flight earlier when our original tickets were only $149 (we are just going from DFW to TUL). At this point, it would have been cheaper for us to take a different airline and not have to switch planes three (yes, three) times. I was speaking with customer service and kept getting interupted ever time I started to ask a question. The customer service reps that I spoke with were rude and did not want to help me with anything. I asked to speak with a supervisor. When I did get one on the phone, I started to explain to her our situation at which point she cut me off and yelled (yes yelled, my husband heard it from across the room) that there was nothing she could do for me. I sat silently for a minute, completely stunned. Then I asked if she really did just cut me off and yell at me, at which point she started to yell at me again! I asked for her last name, which she gave to me - then she hung up on me. Yes, the supervisor HUNG UP on me! Apparently AA does not pride themselves on customer service! Anyone else have problems like this??? And nope, still haven't figured out what we are going to do - but are getting really frustrated!
